I leave certain tasks for Jim so he will have something to do during the day. Things like empty the dishwasher etc. It also gives me an idea of where his mind is at, i.e. did he put things in the right spot or load the dishwasher in a crazy way.
Yesterday, I found the knives in the general cutlery area and the forks, prongs up, in the knife section. It was dangerous the way he had them. Not to mention exactly opposite to the way he used to insist the dishwasher be loaded.
And then there is the ultimate transgression 🙂
In his haste to make sure he doesn’t forget to set up the coffeemaker in the morning, he’s dumping out the half full carafe of fresh, HOT coffee.
Cue inconsolable tears!!
I’ve actually bought a bottle of instant coffee to ensure I’m properly caffeinated. As mentioned on a previous post, our sleep cycles are going out of sync. I’m naturally a night owl and he’s an early bird. I lay awake worrying and then I’m up and moving again in the morning to make sure he’s looked after.
Coffee is a necessity!
