Restless Sleep

I fear we’re entering a new area of symptoms, this time courtesy of diabetes.

Over the past few years, Jim has twitched in his sleep. At first it wasn’t bad. His arms or legs would jerk a few times as he settled into slumber.

It’s been growing steadily worse, graduating to full body movements that were so strong they rocked me and sometimes even rolled me over. (I am not a small person). Over the past few nights, it’s become especially bad. I think partly because it’s coupled with his anxiety over moving. Consciously, he’d forgotten about the conversations, but they’re still rattling around his subconscious. He doesn’t know why he’s anxious, he just knows that he is.

I think I’m in for a rough few months as I stress over everyone’s health, the move, buying/selling houses etc. I may have to give in and start taking afternoon naps like Jim, so I don’t get exhausted and make myself sick.
