When your spouse is diagnosed with Dementia your whole world changes. Not only do you lose the intimacy and support of your partner, you must also become a parent to the person you have always depended on to share the load. It is heartbreaking. It is overwhelming. Some days if feels like you are in a free-fall with no hope of a soft landing. This blog is written about my journey as I lose my husband Jim, to Dementia.
