It’s a nice refresher for me because when I’m in the thick of answering the same question for the umpteenth time, I don’t always have the mind space to step back and breathe.

A lot has likely changed for your loved one over the past 16 months. This will help guests be less blindsided by the decline and give them a heads up for how to react.
Especially important for visitors: don’t try to prompt memories and do not correct when your loved one get the details wrong.
